- Late Fees: Applied at close of business on the 12th of each month
- Disconnections: Last business day of each month beginning at 8am (excluding Fridays and holidays). A $50.00 service fee will be assessed.
- Reconnections: Past due balances and fees must be paid in full, including a $50.00 reconnection fee

A brief look at Wayne's history and character
Railroad Heritage
Wayne was established in 1887 when the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway built a station here. Railroad workers from Pennsylvania named it after their hometown of Wayne, PA. The town was officially platted in 1902.
Small Town Character
With about 700 residents spread across less than half a square mile, Wayne maintains its tight-knit community feel. You can walk across the entire town in about 15 minutes.
Notable Connections
Wayne is the birthplace of Harmon Dobson, co-founder of Whataburger, and Governor Kevin Stitt attended first grade here. The town developed as an agricultural center for cotton, corn, and grain.
